Wine Tasting Room Moved to Winery

After 9 years in downtown Harrison, Idaho,

we have decided to move our Wine Tasting Room to the Winery.  While gearing up for the 2018 season, we received a call from the property owners that we lease the downtown property from.  They informed us of their intention to put the property on the real estate market, effective immediately.  Julie and I were shocked at first, but we quickly transitioned to an evaluation of the choices that we now faced.

We would have loved to purchase the property.  Just like our wines, it is quite unique and beautiful.  But, this event came at a time when we need to focus on making more wine and continuing to be more available to a wider market.  Purchasing this property doesn't accomplish this goal and would, in fact, keep us further from it.  This made the decision simple, and as a bonus, it comes with a long list of benefits.  On top of the list, Julie will not be working 7 days a week this summer!  We are Winemakers, first and foremost.  This move is much more in line with our goals and will actually help us grow our core business.

Now, where can you sample our wines?  Our Winery will now host our Wine Tasting Room.  Tastings here will be by appointment only, for the time being.  Eventually, we will host and cater some very special events, by invitation or open announcement.  It will take time to fully develop our offerings and we will let you know when everything is ready.

We will be attending the Kootenai County Farmers Market in Hayden, Idaho on Saturdays, starting in mid-May.  Also, there are tentative events for St. Maries, Lane and local supermarkets.  This new found freedom and availability is new to us but we will keep you informed of our events, here on our website and social media.

Thank you, everyone that stopped in a time or two to our Wine Tasting Room.  We had a lot of fun, enjoyed talking and sharing with you and we hope we can remain one of your favorite beverages.

Give Love and you'll Get Love, people!

Love, Jim and Julie Sheppard
